My dear children and my children – the ones of myheart!

At the very beginning, the number of those coming here– to this hill – was greater. You usedto come here believing. Yet these days,the numbers of those coming to this hill have decreased. People would come out of curiosity. They had no interest in my messages. Few were attentive to them. They would not come with strong faith. They would come out of a strong curiosity.

My children and my own little children, come in greatnumbers once again to this hill of Borg in-Nadur, since it is my Son Jesus whois purposely sending me here – because of you.

Return to prayer, my children. Go back to prayer once again and take prayerseriously – not hurrying or rushing through. And do not shorten prayer according to your whim, particularly theprayer of the rosary. Do not just comeup with supplementary material to add to the rosary. Say it just the way I gave it to you, mychildren – neither adding nor subtracting. It is a precious prayer. It isthe simple prayer of little children. Come to my Son Jesus once again. I am asking this of you as a mother. It is because he loves you that my Son Jesus is sending me. Turn to him.

Remember that I am the Immaculate Conception.

(P369) Message of 25^th January 2012, givenat Borg in-Nadur

As the apparition began, the Lady came forward holdingthe orb of the earth on her left hand. Going down and round the earth was a green, yellow and red serpent. While going around, the serpent would spewvenom onto the earth. Wherever thisvenom fell, smoke would begin to rise. The more it went round the earth, the more violent it became. The earth began to spin much faster thannormal. It could be seen that thisspinning was abnormal and strange.

Then, the Lady asked Angelik to take the orb into hishands. Angelik was afraid of theserpent, but the Lady assured him that it was the serpent that was afraid – ofhim. On taking the orb, the Lady askedAngelik to take hold of the serpent and to throw it into the depths ofhell. Just at that moment, the fires ofhell appeared on the side of the hill, at the Bronze age wall (there were othertimes when Angelik had seen hell in this place). With trepidation, but encouraged by theLady’s words, Angelik took hold of the serpent. Instantly the serpent became broader and larger. Angelik threw it intothe fires and watched it fall into the depths and out of sight. As this was happening, the blasphemies inhell intensified, yet the earth returned to its normal rotation.

Angelik then gave the orb back to the Lady. From the orb there now came a brightlight. The Lady received it onto herleft hand while she held the rosary-beads in her right hand. She then proceeded to give Angelik a message.

Pray! My children and my ownlittle children, pray! Prayer must bethe witness of what you believe in. Indeed, my children and my own little children. My Son Jesus has a plan. For this plan to come about, he chose thisperson – one from among you.

Yes, my children, do not allow Satan to confuse you. Do not allow Satan to interfere in the planmy Son Jesus has. Do not go astray. Indeed, my children, I am praying very muchfor you, that you might prevail over Satan – because I want to take back whathe has taken.

My children and my own little children, my Son Jesus is sending me tothis hill of Borg in-Nadur. He issending me here because he loves you. Come to this place in great numbers and bring others along withyou. And you will be the means by whichothers are to be converted.

My children, pay heed to these messages, that I am sending you. Take note of them. Live them out, so that others may notice thatyou are united with me.

I ask you for fasting, penance and sacrifices. And truly live a Christian life. Work for peace – that peace might reign amongyou and in your country. Never stopworking for it. I promise that I takenote of the efforts you make on my behalf, my children. Be united. And I tell you once again: work for peace.

I have a plan for this island. Satan is trying to destroy this plan. Yet he has taken a portion of it. I am coming here so as to wash you andcleanse you from sin, my children. Cometo this hill in great numbers. Come! Come and get others tocome. Come to this hill – that my SonJesus chose – so that we may combat Satan, who wants to shatter my plan. He wanted to take hold of it all, but did notsucceed.

I want you to be more united with me in prayer duringthese coming weeks. Indeed, my children,join up with me in prayer more than you usually do. I am going to be very close to you during theseweeks. In a special way, pray the fourrosaries daily during these weeks – even until I signal to you by means of thisperson.

To prayer join fasting, penance and sacrifice, that itmay be as perfume from the rising smoke of incense. I tell you once again, myown little children: fasting, penance and sacrifices.

In a special way, I want the people who live in thevicinity of Birzebbuga – those from Zejtun, from Ghaxaq and from Marsaxlokk – toconvey these messages on my behalf. Indeed, my children, I want you to conveythem on my behalf. Pass them on toothers.

And you! People of Birzebbuga! I want you to believe and to come here ingreat numbers, since my Son Jesus is sending me here to your village for you,for each and every one of you and for your parish – for I want conversion, yesconversion from the very foundation.

My children, I want you to work at this duringthe year. I am warning youwell in advance. Beprepared. Whenever acountry goes to war with another, it first does its homework. Yes, my children, do your own homeworktoo.

Getworking! My children, workat this together, so that divorce will not result in confusion in your countryand bring in abortion as well. My children, beunited! Live your Christian life together as brethren. Thisis why my Son Jesus came here into the world: to bring peace. Hecame as a simple baby – in your eyes no different from all the others, yet sogreat before God!

Indeed, my children,look at the little children. Be as they are – simple and humble – aschildren. In their minds, children have no evil and do not wish toharm anyone, but rather try to help everyone. This is the way you ought tobe – just like these little children. Indeed, my children, imitatethem. Become as they are. Think as the little children do andyou will find that you will never go wrong.

This is the way to bringhappiness to the hearts of others – just as the baby Jesus brought it on thatcold night. He brought joy to the shepherds. He broughttogetherness to them. He brought peace to their hearts. Thisis what he wishes to do to you, my children. This simple child wantsto bring joy to the world. My children, he did not just come forthis particular one or that particular one or that other one, but rather hecame for all. He came to share this experience with the wholeworld. Indeed, my children – because he loves you.

And today he is sendingme here to this hill of Borg in-Nadur to the same end. Yes, to thesame end – to unite you all once again. To unite you into one peopleand one flock. This is why he is sending me to move around here.

My dear children and dear children – theones of my heart!

Many were the doors that Joseph knocked on,that he might find me shelter that night. How earnestly we ran to and fro! Manywere the doors that were slammed in our faces. We were losing heart. Yet we chancedon a tiny cave. It was a simple and poorcave. And I gave the world thefirst-fruit of my womb. Indeed, mychildren, I gave my offspring to the world.

Do you think that I did not wish for apalace? Did I not wish for a comfortablebed? Did I not wish to have heating andnot the body-heat of animals and a cradle of straw? What do you say to that, my children? The Son of God wanted this to be hisbirthplace. Amid poverty and simplicity.

Nowadays it is much the same. We are knocking at the doors of yourhearts. Some open up while others playat not having heard the knock. Othershear, but refuse to open up. All thesame, I tap at the door again, in the hope that they might show mercy and takeme in.

My children and my own little children,take this coming Christmas seriously. Give birth to baby Jesus in your hearts. Allow him to transform your life. Allow him to lead you.

You daily receive the little baby, that Ihold in my arms tonight, by means of the Eucharist. Indeed, my children, it is the same one whowanted to come here this evening so as to be among you this wintry night. Truly, my children, he did this for you –because he loves you.

Yes, my children, I repeat it again tonight: do notallow abortion to enter into your country. Indeed, children, you would wound our heart. Abortion is something we do not want to takeplace. Yes, children, get working tooppose abortion! So very many say: ‘Thatis a sick baby!’; ‘If infected by AIDS, would it not be better to have itdestroyed while in the womb?’ Mychildren, this is wrong. By doing this,you kill the innocent. Many put forwardthis excuse: for the sake of the mother’s health; or else that the baby willnot be normal. They therefore get rid ofit.

I tell you again: struggle on, my children. Keep up the struggle against abortion. Do not become like other countries that exerttheir influence on you little by little – resulting in the acceptance of it inyour country as well. Keep it atbay. Do not repeat what you did withdivorce. My children, the vigil of my feast falls on thisday. Indeed, today is the vigil of myfeast and from my very heart I wish to tell you the following – my children andmy own little children: I want you to believe in the existence of hell. Maybe you no longer hear much said aboutit. My children and my own littlechildren, hell truly exists. Many soulsare going into it and are being lost. See to it that you do not go there too because of sin, my children. It is a terrible and horrifying place.

Satan does everything within his power to disrupt youand resorts to certain ways of insinuation to get you off guard, saying: ‘Thatis good and not that other!’; ‘See how this one is better than that otherone!’; ‘Observe how this woman is better than your wife – she appreciates youmore!’; ‘See how this man loves you more than your husband!’ Satan draws many pictureswithin the fantasy of your mind, my children.

He even tries to disrupt priests. Indeed, my children, he tries to warp theirthinking about everything. He causesthem to pronounce good what is wrong and to preach as correct wrongs they havecontorted into right. Indeed, this is Satan’s doing, my children. It is his work to disrupt everyone. Yet I protect you from him. Come to me, always to me, my children and Iwill free you from Satan who will surely persist in following you and inroaming behind your back. He will spare no effort in striving to take you intohis hands. But, were you to pray yourbeads, Satan would keep his distance from you.

Indeed, my children, this is what I wished to sharewith you tonight. Hell does exist. I tell you again that many souls are goinginto hell. This is why my Son Jesus issending me here – it is because he wants the world to be converted. My Son Jesus urgently wants conversion fromthe whole world. He does not want to seeSatan win over the world. This is why hesent me and why he chose this island and this hill of Borg in-Nadur.

My children and my own little children, teach thepeople that hell truly exists and do not avoid speaking about hell. Speak up, my children. And I tell you again:teach the people. And also what causesthem to go there.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart!

How are Maltese families to give example? How, my children? Husband and wife are to respect each other not only when together, but especially when away from each other, at their place of work or shopping or on other errands. Indeed, my children, they are to behave as married persons wherever they are and not waver. Marriage is permanent, ever and wherever present. Indeed, my children, this is how couples ought to be. Such is the bond that binds them. Even when distant from each other, they are likewise to behave as married persons, always and anywhere.

Similarly, my children, I speak of the children of my heart – the priests and the religious men and women. Their lives must give good example to others: first of all to their own brethren and following these, to people who spend much time with them. Some are negligent and others speak according to what suits them in the presence of the people. The priest is to behave as a priest wherever and not only when at the altar.

My children and my children – the ones of my heart, do appreciate the grace you have been given by my Son Jesus. Truly appreciate it. Live out your vocation. Live it out and increase in numbers. Indeed, my children, this is my wish tonight. Edify those around you by your example and behave as priests wherever you are. Indeed, I say it once again: do not let yourselves be thrown off course. Do not be ‘modern’ in spiritual matters. Give me a helping hand, my children. Help me out in this mission.

You are to proclaim this the world over.

My children, how much longer are you going to take everythinginto your own hands? How much longerwill you continue to do only what seems right to you? In what way are you terminating persons’lives? You terminate them on any pretext– because your own mind tells you so.

Indeed, my children, you do this because you thinkyourselves to be in command – commanders over creation and over naturetoo. Alas, nature is imitating you! My Son Jesus brought about a well orderedcreation, with all in place. But you aremuddling up nature by what you yourselves do – by the wanton killing that youperpetrate. Indeed, my children, natureis responding in a manner similar to yours – just the same. It is retaliating to all that you do:earthquakes, floods and rain.

Indeed, my children, I tell you once again: nature toois making her voice heard. She has hadenough. My children, she has hadenough. She too is making a noise invarious of your neighbouring countries – that are but a stone’s throw away fromyou.

You are the same as these countries. Indeed my children, you are as they are. Possibly, in the future some ‘clever’ people willcome, who will attempt to emulate other countries and not give the baby the opportunityto be born – being in command – and cause others to harm that baby.

I tell you that nature reacts. She too makes her voice be heard, mychildren.

Indeed, my children, pray for the conversion of theworld and of your own country too. Pray withoutceasing. Pray the rosary so as todistance abortion from your country, my children.

Our hearts are hurting. Truly, my children, our hearts arehurting. Be the ones who ease our pain.

My children, in a few weeks time you will be celebrating the feast ofChristmas. What is Christmas to you, mychildren? Buying, having fun, food,careless spending, decorations in the home and youths becoming more disorientedat Christmas. My children, are youpreparing for the coming of the Baby Jesus in this way? Tell me, my children, whether I am correct inwhat I am saying. In truth, are manyready to celebrate it in their hearts? You have already prepared some gifts and what you will be eatingtoo. Are you not aware of what ishappening all around you at this time? Or is your mind off with the trends of this world?

My children, many turn to my Son Jesus when they hear about some jolt oran earthquake, or heavy downpours of rain or floods. It is then that they turn to him. You are not to be this way as well, mychildren. Keep my Son Jesus in yourheart at all times. Do not becalculating with him or come to him only when you are in pain.

This is what I wished to share with you tonight, my children. Tonight, prepare yourselves for this newcoming. Get ready. Turn to my Son. I am asking this of you. My own little children, and my children – theones of my heart, turn to my Son this Christmas, so that peace may enter yourheart, for if you change, you will change others who are around you.

Experience this joy and pass it on to others. Indeed, my children, I wish you to pass thatdear night of Christmas in your parish-churches at the functions. And get others to go too, so that theChurches might be filled with people. This is my wish for this Christmas, my children.

My children, soon you will begin to sendgreeting-cards to your friends and relatives – and you do well. Yet, be careful as to what you write in thecards. Indeed, at times, you hurt othersby what you write. You try to pass onthe message in writing. Others conveybeautiful messages. Yet there are thosewho take advantage of the situation so as to strike out at others. My children, I want you to consider well whatyou write in your cards and make sure that it is beneficial.

See here, I am delivering a message to you. There are some who put it into practice andothers who put it aside. There are somewho read it once, twice, three times. There are some who take note of it and others who do not. There are some who hold it as dubious. My children, I want you to have strong faith– indeed – take note of what I am conveying to you by means of this person.

I wish to ask you to pray for priests – the sons of myheart. Pray also for those of them whoerr. I love them too. Or rather, I follow them more closely – so asto draw them to myself and to my Son Jesus. There are others too, who do not pass on my Son Jesus’ messagecorrectly. They try to cut corners. Indeed, my children, they bend it to theirown opinions and advantage. This too iswrong. There are others still who alwayscause trouble. Indeed, my children, theyportray themselves as very learned, or play at being professors and lawyers whoare above everyone else, including the Bishop and the Church – since theybypass these and go public. Indeed, mychildren, there are many such opinionated priests who give wrong advice –advice based on their personal views. Indeed, my children, pray much for priests. Pray for their conversion and that they mayapproach my Son Jesus.

Come more frequently to this hill, my children, and docome in great numbers. I ask this of youas a mother does. Come. Come to this hill of Borg in-Nadur. Bring others along with you. Come – I say once more! Come for the prayer of the rosary and to beinternally moved by it. Cause others tobe moved by it as well, my children.

My children, a long time ago I had already rambledaround these parts. Indeed, my children, someone had seen me and wasfrightened. It was a farmer. He was harvesting wheat on this hill in this area.Yes my children, I have been rambling here for a long time. My Son Jesus wassending me. I was living closer to you.

These days are different to that former time. Ihave gathered you here on this hill. I was served by this person here. Igathered you for the prayer of the rosary. Indeed, my children, it is necessaryfor you to continue coming to this hill. Or rather, bring others along andincrease. Come in great numbers to this hill. Bring others along with you. Intruth I tell you, my children, that this hill is blessed. Time will pass andthen you will understand why I am saying this. Bring others along with you. Donot treat it as a common place or a place for recreation. Great wonders willtake place up here.

They are the sons of myheart. Offer up fasting, penance and sacrifices for them, so that the priests-- following your example -- may teach others and not be a stumbling block topeople. In truth, I tell you my children, there are some of them who do notknow what they do and have lost the way. I really want you to pray for them.

Duringthis rosary, the recitation was interrupted at the beginning of the fourthdecade when Angelik fell into an ecstasy and ascended the short distance to themain cross to wait for the Lady. A message was given which was recordedas usual in Fr Hayden’s voice recorder.

The Message

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart!

My children, were someone to send a letter with no address, it would notarrive to its destination. It wouldprobably have your own address and return to you. Yet, my children, the letter that you havereceived does have an address, since it was my Son Jesus who sent me to thisMaltese island. It was not lost. It did arrive to you country. Indeed, my children, do open this letter thatmy Son Jesus posted to your island. Donot leave it unopened. See what iswritten there. See what it wants to say. Indeed, my children, give it attention. I love you dearly, my children.

I was overjoyed when my Son Jesus sent me to this island. I prayed much for your conversion. And soon, my children, yes soon, you willhave a clear sign: from this place water will begin to issue and people willget healed. Yes, my children, continueto be united among yourselves. Continueto grow in faith. Those who have stoppedcoming here and those who have been stopped from coming to this hill are toreturn here (1). Yes, my children, comeclose to me. Come up close, that I maycover you with my celestial mantle. Mychildren, and my own little children, come once again in great numbers to thishill of Borg in-Nadur.

You are noticing lightning tonight. What does that mean? Is it notthat bad weather is approaching? Indeed,my children, that is what it means. Badweather is close. This is what is alsohappening on this island. See the stormthat can come about. At the moment thereis much lightning – just as had happened years back when you might have gotsoaked, yes, and maybe ruined too. Donot allow this to happen again this time round, my children. Do not allow abortion to enter and destroy –as happened in the case of divorce. Mychildren, divorce has already entered here. My children, now it is the turn for abortion to enter and destroy andshatter all.

On 1^st November,1950, sixty-one years ago, Pope Pius XII declared that I was taken to Heavenbody and soul.

My dear children, several –many Gozitans and many Maltese – have forgotten everything. The custom of Halloween is making headway, my children. I have spoken to you of it on otheroccasions. When I first began to mentionthis event, there was not as yet so much fuss about it. From year to year it has gained ground, ashas always occurred even with other matters, my children.

You must be witnesses, mychildren. I want you to be mywitnesses. All such matters arefoolishness – the doing of the devil, and for him to find ways how to insinuatehimself and deceive you.

So, my Gozitan children, itis my wish that next Tuesday evening you come together here and gather othersalong with you, so as to celebrate the feast with me. During this rosary, after the arrival of the Lady, Angelik was seen makingthe sign of the cross as usual but he remained standing. In recent apparitions, he has always beenkneeling to receive the message.

According to Angelik, the Lady was today accompanied by a large number ofangels.

The Message

At the beginningof the apparition, the Lady told Angelik to take a look at his hands.

My dear children and my children – the ones of myheart! This message is for you to passon to the people.

Dear children, is it that you take exception to myskin not being like yours? I madeAngelik take a look at his hands and he observed the difference between hishands and mine. Indeed, my children,several here consider my coming as clandestine. They are not living what I communicate and the messages I give to thisperson. They refrain in fear. Why so, my children?

Why do you treat your brothers who have come hereclandestinely in the same way? Maybe onseeing them outside, you despise them. Many Maltese persons and companies employ these illegal immigrants. Indeed, my children, but come pay time at theend of the month, they find it so hard. Often a week, then other weeks pass and no pay is given. Why this discrimination, my children?

You do as much to me. You treat me as an illegal immigrant. My children, this is what I have to say today. Be compassionate! Be compassionate with these, your brethren,who are your neighbours – who fled their county at the risk of theirlives. Yes, my children, respect them –they are human beings just like you. They are not inferior to you. No! Skin and colour make nodifference. My Son Jesus came forall. He did not stop to consider thecolour of people or to look at the colour of their skin. Yet this is what you do.

You look at me just as you look at these people – withmaybe the one difference that for some of you I am a thorn. Maybe I am a thorn in your flesh. Yet it is for your sake that my Son Jesus issending me, my children. Put an end toseeing my coming as clandestine. Welcomeme into your heart. Give ear to themessage I am bringing to you by means of this person.

Rosary and Message (P351) of the 5th October 2011, Borg in-Nadur, Malta

At the end of the recitation of the rosary, which had prodeeded in thefamiliar pattern, it was surprising to see that Angelik was apparently back inan ecstatic state. He moved a shortdistance away from the others, still on the first level of the hill, with FrHayden close by following him. Angelikthen crouched down and presumably gathered a stone from the floor but it couldhave been something else. This area wasnot well lit and no video was being shot. Shortly afterwards and judging by his movements, Angelik had returned tothe normal state.

In his brief address to those present on the hill for the rosary, Angelik didnot mention this fact and therefore no explanation can be given.

The Message

My dear children and my children – the ones of myheart!

My heart and the heart of my Son Jesus are deeplyhurt. You ask: “How come?” Look around you. Look over the whole expanse of the world. What is happening, my children? Wars, fighting, violence, adultery, drugs,suicide, wanton killing. How is it thatone removes the life of the other – especially through abortion? This is what grieves our hearts.

Today, I speak out once again against abortion. I am warning you well in advance. My Son Jesus is sending me to walk thestreets of this island just as I had done before. I am telling you about what could happen inyour country. Be fully prepared, just asthe soldier gets ready before going to war. Be prepared and prepare those who are around you, lest they fall intothe trap.

Indeed, my children, set yourselves to work. Strive to keep abortion far from your shores,my children. Help me, I beg you! You may work by means of the prayer of therosary. I tell you once again, mychildren, that I am giving you an early warning and well in advance. Help me to keep abortion far off from yourcountry. My children, I had told youthat by means of divorce you would open up the door to everything else. Rosary and Message (P350) of the 28th September 2011, Borg in-Nadur, Malta

After the reading of the message given the previous Wednesday, Fr Hayden informedthose that gathered for this rosary that a foreign scientist will be conductingsome tests and apologised for any inconvenience. One recalls that this scientist was presentat Borg in-Nadur at least on another occasion some time ago. An assistant of Dr Mark Xuereb was alsopresent.

The rosary was conducted by Angelik and proceeded in the usual manner. He fell into an ecstatic state during therosary and made his way up towards the cross, with the scientist observing allhis movements. Angelik knelt at the footof the cross soon after the arrival of the Lady and communicated his message asusual. Dr Mark Xuereb himself joined his colleagues as the message was being recorded.
When this was through, thescientist was apparently asking Angelik some questions who responded without shiftinghis glance from the Lady. At this point,Fr Hayden was presumably translating the replies being given by Angelik. The apparition ended in the normal manner andAngelik returned to the normal state.

The Message

Mydear children and my children – the ones of my heart!

Mychildren, let each one of you imagine that someone has locked you up and leftyou for some days in a zinc box, that is just large enough for you to fitinside. By your own ears you overhear aconversation that is taking place outside. What you hear being said is about you being put to death.

“Letus torture him to death and leave him to die very slowly.”

“No,better to be rid of him.”

“Itis better to torture him, so as to make him suffer.”

“Knockinghim off and getting it over and done with is better. We will be rid of him inno time. We will not cause problems.”

Indeed,my children, imagine yourselves in such a situation. And that finally they kill you in cold blood.

Ongetting to know that they are about to kill you, you begin to wriggle insidethat box. You try to move. You try to free yourself from thatsavage. But you fail. Strength fails you. Tiredness overtakes you. The thought alone inside your head exhaustsyou.

Rosary and Message (P349) of the 21st September 2011, Borg in-Nadur, Malta

This rosary at Borg in-Nadur started with the reading of the message givenby the Lady the previous Wednesday. Those present were asked to reflect and meditate on the message duringthe recitation of the rosary.

After reciting the first three decades, Angelik fell into ecstasy and ascendedto the main cross to wait for the Lady and receive the message. The apparition proceeded in the familiarpattern however just before the departure of the Lady, Angelik passed a messageto Fr Hayden who was as usual by his side. It was then announced that the Lady had asked all those present to raisetheir rosary beads as she was going to bless them. Angelik was seen following the Lady’smovement as she gradually went over the crowd that had gathered.

When the apparition had ended and the rosary and succeeding chaplet werefinished, Angelik recounted how today he had felt intence joy during theapparition of Our Lady. He also saidthat today the Lady was accompanied by many angels.

The Message

Mydear children and my children – the ones of my heart!

Howimportant is money, my children? And howimportant is it to have fame or power? How great is it to have villas and houses? How admirable not to be needy during yourlifetime? In a word, my children, such mattersare given precedence, before my Son Jesus. This is what you do. Such thingsare your new god. This is what thepeople in the desert did when fashioning a calf and declared it to be the godwho was liberating them and caring for them. My children, indeed, do not put such things before my Son Jesus – onlyto replace him. No, my children, do notgo blind. Do not allow power to raiseyou on high, only to suddenly cause you to crash down. Or money – that makes you believe that youare invincible. Do not take such thingsto be your god. You know who is your God. You know full well. Maybe some do not care. They want to persevere in obstinacy. They want to continue to put my Son Jesusaside.

Rosary and Message (P348) of the 14th September 2011, Borg in-Nadur, Malta

With the preceeding message being given on the 17th August 2011, themessage given today breaks a relatively long interval devoid ofapparitions. This pause coincided withthe vacation period of a number of persons involved with Borg in-Nadur.

Angelik was accompanied by Fr Hayden and some members from the Theotokosgroup. After settling down on the firstlevel of the knoll, Angelik started the recitation of the meditated rosary. All the five decades were recited byAngelik. At the end of the fourthdecade, Angelik stood up after falling in ecstasy and made his way up to thecentral cross to wait for the Lady. Hewas followed by Fr Hayden and the lady who apparently assists Dr Mark Xuereb. As the apparition started, Fr Haydensprinkled Holy Water in the direction of the Lady and Angelik. One could notice at this point that contraryto the previous apparitions, there was no member from the Theotokos group onthe hill next to Fr Hayden to take the message. Angelik knelt down and moments later he started to repeat the words ofthe message being given to him by the Lady, which Fr Hayden repeated and recorded in his voice recorder. Dr Mark Xuereb himself made an appearanceduring the recording of the message.

When the message was finished and still in a state of ecstasy, Angelikexchanged a few words with Fr Hayden and Dr Xuereb. Then Angelik stood up and the apparitionended as he followd the Lady return to the eastern skies. The recitation of the rosary resumed asAngelik came out of the ecstasy.

When the rosary ended, Angelik explained briefly what he hadexperienced. He then added that as fromthis day, the message given will be read the following Wednesday.

The Message

My dear children and my children – theones of my heart!

How often are you praying, mychildren? What relevance does prayerhave in your life? How much time are youfinding for prayer – so as to break away from the day and be recollected? How much time are you finding for this?

And what are we to say about Sundays andholidays? What are we to say ofthem? Are you giving God all that ishis? Or are you selecting? Work is of higher importance – it comesfirst! What do you think about this, mychildren? Are you observing Sunday? Are you going to Mass or not? Or have you forgotten about Sunday? Or maybe you think of it as something of abygone day? Some even work on Sundaywithout really needing to. Why is it so,my children?

Observe the Sunday obligation. Come together in God. Unite. Indeed, my children, let Sunday be blessed. Let Sunday be there for Mass and do not belike many who neglect Mass for the sake of work. Indeed, my children, on Sundays gathertogether in a special way at Mass and in prayer.

Indeed, my children, this is my wish, aswell as the wish of my Son Jesus. Attendto Sunday. Indeed, my children, do notlet Sunday be like the rest of the week. Assemble and be lifted up to my Son Jesus.

During this rosary, there was no apparition and no message from The Lady. The visionary Angelik, Fr Hayden, Fr David and many members of the group Theotokos were not present. Over the years, Angelik has not been on the hill of Borg in-Nadur for the rosary only when he was either sick, when he was abroad or when he was asked by The Lady not to go. It is unlikely that today he was sick since on such occasions Angelik still has an apparition at his home in Birzebbuga and a message from The Lady is still given. Since no announcements was made by the Theotokos members running this rosary, no further information can be given.

Rosary and Message (P347) of the 17^th August 2011, Borg in-Nadur, Malta

After today’s rosary, the psychiatrist Dr Mark Xuereb addressed briefly the crowd that had gathered on the hill of Borg in-Nadur. He reminded those who believe that they had experienced some form of healing to follow the advice given to them by their doctor or specialist as it would be a mistake not to do so. The conditions can be various and also complex on many occasions. He invited anyone coming forward with claims of healing to preferably produce a series of certificates made over time by their doctor as this would help in the report that is being prepared. Dr Xuereb said that this report is becoming voluminous with time.

Today’s Message

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! You are to convey this message to the people.

What is the priest to you, my children? What does seeing him go by signify to you? What sort of respect do you bear him? My children, the priest must be a clear mirror to you. Appreciate the priest, my children.

Be loving towards the priests. Do not mock them. What I say with regards to diocesan priests also goes for religious priests and sisters, my children. These are my children – the ones of my heart. You are to give them first place. Show them respect. Show them love. And be of service to them too, my children.

In days gone by, whenever a peasant had a horse-drawn or donkey-drawn cart, he would tie a hammock beneath it so as to put there a wine-flask and a water-flask and a loaf to eat during the day. He might also have kept the animal’s fodder there. He would keep them out of the sun. He would put them in the shade and where to him would seem a safe place. Indeed my children, this is the way I want you to keep priests. Be their security. Even if one of them were to err, do not mock or shatter them. They are not all to be blamed.

I ask you to pray for your spiritual shepherd and for the Church in Malta – that it might not be infected or contaminated by its neighbouring countries.

This message is for you to pass on to the people.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! The black cloud that is over this country is continuing to spread: just as divorce came in, many couples that had been waiting for it began to move ahead.

And soon, my children and my own little ones, another cloud will be approaching. For the moment it is still distant from your country. This cloud is the killing of the innocent within their mothers’ womb. This too is a blow against these innocent ones. At first they use the abnormal baby as an excuse – so as to get rid of it. Once this is allowed, then another door is opened, for the abortion of the normal. Yet they first begin with the ones who are not as healthy as the others, lest they be a burden to family and society.

Indeed, my children, this is yet another heartache both for myself and for my Son Jesus. Work with all your might, my children. Start up from now. The cloud is still very far from your shores. You are to be strong, my children. Be prepared even from now. Do not say that you cannot even begin to imagine it – the killing of the innocent!

Indeed, my children, I tell you: do not get stained with this blood. See to it that you do not look at your hands only to see them stained with this red blood of the innocent. I am telling you this from now so that you may be prepared.

They do not even give them the anointing with oil. Do they not know that the anointing with oil can bring healing? Indeed, my children, I repeat: this is a great heartache for myself, for my Son Jesus and for the Church. Make preparations from now.

Strengthen your army even from now: a simple army. The army is to be armed by the prayer of the rosary. Be strengthened and strengthen the others. Today you are under my mantle here on this hill. Take a decision even today. Start up the prayer of the rosary once more. Start from today and get others to say the rosary, so that the black cloud will not reach you. Yet it is surely there and is slowly moving towards you.

Today, on the Lady’s front, attached to her sash, there were three roses. The one in the middle was yellow. The one on her right side was white. The one to the left was red.

You are to pass this message to the people.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! I ask you not to receive Communion as a mere custom or habit. I ask you, my children, to be well prepared.

My children, I want you to show deep respect for the Eucharist. You are not to enter the Church and go around every image while ignoring my Son Jesus. Indeed, my children, there are many who behave in this way. You are to give my Son Jesus first place. Then follow the rest. Indeed, my children and my own little children, give good example to others. You are to give witness to this.

You are also to show respect to the fragments that cling to the palm of your hand or that remain on the patens. Yes, my children, I repeat: show my Son Jesus respect.

Show diocesan and religious priests respect as well. Show them great respect. Be close to them. Indeed, my children, do not slander them. Do not capriciously throw mud at them. Pray much for them and pray for the Church and for your Bishops.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! I ask you to pass this on to the people.

My children, what is it that separates you from my Son Jesus? It is sin. Sin cuts you off completely from my Son Jesus and binds you to Satan. Indeed, my children. Be aware! Sin separates you from my Son Jesus. Do not allow Satan to take control.

Yes, my children and my own little children, come in great numbers towards my Son Jesus and be of good example to others. Be simple and humble. I make you a heartfelt plea to approach the sons of my heart whenever you do wrong. Go to Confession. They alone are able to bind you once more to my Son Jesus. They are instruments in his hands. Do not be like many who are conceited and, totally lacking in humility, slander priests. My children, prevent them from slandering priests. Come to their defence yourselves. I repeat: the priest is that person who once again binds you to my Son Jesus.

Yes, my children, do not allow anyone to muddle you or confuse you. My children, come to conversion. Take it seriously, for time is limited. Be converted – both you and those around you.

He is sending me here because of you – with the purpose that all of you may be converted. My Son Jesus let his gaze fall on this hill of Borg in-Nadur at Birzebbuga. It is a grace given to you, my children. Treasure this grace. Do not let it pass you by. Do not allow Satan to intrude, as he did with divorce.

Yes, my children and my own little children. Finger your beads. Say the rosary with devotion and involve others. Appreciate the rosary since it has the value of power. On hearing the prayer of the rosary, Satan is horrified and trembles, my children. And he is right to be horrified, for the prayer of the rosary is a prayer of praise to me. Satan wanted to take hold of me too, but my Son Jesus did not grant him the opportunity. He wanted to have power over me as well, but I am the Mother of God.

Anistemi/Rosary of 26^thJuly 2011 and Message (P343) given at Borg in-Nadur

Practically all of the embellishing work that had been carried out days before the rosary of the 29th June 2011 had now been removed. It was certainly no easy task especially at this time of the year to carrying out this landscaping in the first place but having to return the terrain to its original state must have been even worse. I personally was of the impression that the mould of Borg in-Nadur where the main cross is located was only rubble resulting from the excavation works carried out by Margaret Murray back in the 1920’s.

When the apparition and rosary were finished and before the reading of the message given today, it was communicated that The Lady had asked the people to come for the Wednesday rosary tomorrow with eagerness and that they should tell others to come so that the attendance will be numerous. Also they were to bring with them a candle and a flower. She also said that she wished to bless Malta.

The Message

The Lady came with hands filled with gems. As she stood at the Cross and presented the gems to the people, it seemed as though these gems left her hands and flew towards the people who were present.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! Convey this message to the whole world.

Farmers and gardeners will fully understand what I am about to say. The broomrape destroys the broad bean plant, detaching it at the base and totally ruining it. If farmer and gardener do not pull up the plant, the broomrape would ruin all, since it is stronger than the broad bean.

My children and my own little children, you need to pull up the roots that have brought in false and evil ideas from Europe and that are displacing the good that had been planted down the years. Do not let these roots do what the broomrape does: overtake the good. The broomrape is sturdy and grows among the broad bean plants, outdoing them all – just as is happening in Europe: from its very midst, evil is displacing everything and all those around you are being infected.

And so, my children, pull up evil from its deepest base. In a special way, you who are on this island of Malta are to be exemplary for Europe. Tear out the evil that is there. Tear it out from its depth. If necessary dig up a hole so as to extricate the roots. I am aware that you will suffer. I know that you will sweat copiously and drink much water. I know that you will be exhausted as well. Yet, I will protect you as a mother does, for I am maternal – I am the Immaculate Conception.

Rosary of 20th July 2011 and Message (P342) Given at Borg in-Nadur

On his way up to the hill of Borg in-Nadur for today’s rosary, Angelik stopped in front of a group of persons and after falling into an ecstatic state, he knelt down and apparently received a Communion Host. This has not happened for quite a while at the hill. As this happens so suddenly and unexpectedly, the initial moments were not caught on video. The person in the white T-Shirt who must have seen everything, was asked to give his testimony after the rosary if he so wished. Although he did make his way up the hill, followed by a lady, and spoke to Fr Hayden, for some reason no testimony was given. Persons we spoke to after the rosary told us that the Communion Host had apparently appeared on Angelik’s tongue and not on his hand. What has been caught on video is shown hereunder.

Today The Lady came at the end of the third decade of the rosary. After giving the message, there was a noticeable long communication between her and Fr Hayden, in the presence of Dr Mark Xuereb who is the person investigating these events from a scientific perspective.

This was today’s message from The Lady.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! You are to pass this message on to the people.

A dialogue between the Lady and Ann Cassar Torreggiani now took place, by means of Angelik.

Lady: Ann, once your parents had you baptized and you had grown a little, they brought you to Confirmation. What of the occasion that day?

Ann: I became a soldier for Christ.

Lady: In short, you renewed what had been done to you when you were little, yet now you understood everything. Ann, is it not so?

Ann: Yes, Lady. Maybe at Confirmation I still did not fully understand, but in time one goes further into it and understands better.

Lady: Ann, you have replied correctly. Well done. And now, what advice would you give your brothers and sisters regarding Baptism and Confirmation?

Ann: These promises are not made just once. They are to be renewed daily, with the willingness to obey God at every moment, so as to fully accomplish his will.

Lady: You have answered well. Very well. Thank you.

My children and my own little children, you have heard what was said tonight, have you not? Do not be afraid of showing that you are Christians, my children. It will happen that they will slander you in every way, because you might not see things the way they do, since you oppose divorce and abortion. They will scorn you, calling you strange. They will deride you saying that you are ignorant: “Outdated!” “You are not like one of us!” “We are modern, you passé!”

Indeed, my children, this is what you will encounter, even daily. Fear not, my children. Do not be afraid to manifest the truth! Do not be afraid of holding onto your principles. Indeed, my children, and my own little children, you will come across those who will throw mud in your face. Maybe this has already begun. Yet, fear not, my children. The mud might cling to your face for some time and then dry up. Once drying over, I will brush it off myself, my children. Have courage! Be strong of heart. Do not be afraid of showing that you are Christians.

Rosary of 13th July 2011 and Message (P341) given to Angelik at home

As Angelik was not present on the hill of Borg in-Nadur, today’s rosary was conducted by the other members of the Theotokos group. As has happen before during similar circumstances, one noted that at a certain point during the rosary, a member of the Theotokos group left the hill to return moments later with a sheet, presumably with the message from The Lady. Angelik lives only a few minutes’ walk from Borg in-Nadur.

The Message

You are to pass this message on to the people.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! Tonight I wish us to share something together. It is something that you hold as ordinary and that you maybe take as a custom.

What does baptism mean to you, my children? And what does it mean to you, Angelik?

Angelik: Lady, to me baptism means liberation from original sin. By means of baptism, we are joined to your Son Jesus.

And as to you, my children, what does it mean? Ponder on its meaning in your heart.

What meaning does it actually hold for you Christians?

Do you esteem the baptism of infants?

Are the godparents preparing themselves for it? It is not a matter of just being a godparent. Are you aware of the responsibility you have as a godparent?

My children, what sort of preparation are you giving infants once these begin to understand?

I repeat: how are godparents and parents preparing themselves?

My children, pay attention to what I am telling you tonight. Make good resolutions. Catechumens used to spend a whole year in preparation before receiving baptism.

Prepare yourselves for this sacrament. Be well prepared for it. Indeed, the baby would not comprehend. You would be the ones bringing infants to baptism.

Baptism is the first step in your life that binds you to my Son Jesus and frees you from Satan.

Indeed, my children, it is necessary that I keep on coming so as to teach you such things – just as I used to do with the apostles and the disciples.

Come on this very day, my children, come and be born anew! Renew your baptism so that you may all be brothers and sisters in the name of my Son Jesus Christ.

Rosary of 6^th July 2011 and Message (P340) given at Borg in-Nadur

There was another small variation today to the procedure being followed during the rosary on the hill of Borg in-Nadur. You will recall that we talked about a new phase that seemed to have started after the divorce referendum of the 28th May 2011, precisely during the rosary of the 15th June 2011. Before the recitation of the fourth decade of the rosary, it was announced that the rosary was being stopped as we were going to await the apparition of The Lady. On all the previous occasions, the rosary was stopped when Angelik fell into an ecstasy without any advice and made his way towards the cross.

About two minutes after this announcement, Angelik fell into ecstasy and stood up from his chair. As he usually does, he stopped briefly to say a short prayer and make the sign of the cross. Then he made his way to the main cross to wait for the arrival of The Lady.

Today’s Message from The Lady

On arriving, the Lady told Angelik: “Open wide your arms so as to receive and pass on to the people, what I am about to tell you today.” Angelik kept his arms open while receiving the message.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is for you to pass on to the people.

My children and my own little children! I want your hearts not be of stone or bronze. Instead, my will is that your hearts would be of living flesh. Indeed, my children, soften your hearts. Open your hearts for others. My children, be simple, just as I was.

Allow my Son Jesus to change your hearts and stop looking through old spectacles, but rather see through new lenses.

If, by time, the spectacles have become smudged, than clean them up – and, my children, you are aware of my meaning: the priests, sons of my heart. (1)

And so, my children, come together as one. Tear open your hearts and open them wide. Do not present others with hard, steel-like hearts. Let your hearts be compassionate.

My children and my own little children, yes indeed, this is what I wanted to pass onto you – my children, this evening.

My children, I tell you that I urgently want conversion. Yes indeed, my children, I urgently want conversion, so that such happenings will take place up here that people will believe much more that I am the Lady of Borg in-Nadur.

Before leaving and with a sad look in her eyes, the Lady asked Angelik to tell the people to lift up their rosary-beads so that she would bless them.

(1) Angelik understood these words as meaning that the Lady was reminding people of Confession to a priest.

Following the completion of the rosary and the reading of the message to the people, Angelik described briefly what he had witnessed today during the apparition. In what can be described as another important variation in this new phase after the divorce referendum, Fr Hayden or Fr David are no longer sharing their reflections inspired by the message of the day. Instead it is now Angelik himself who is sharing his reflections on the message.

Rosary of 29th June 2011 and Message (P339) Given at Borg in-Nadur

A substancial improvement was made to the mould of Borg in-Nadur, the site chosen by The Lady for the apparitions since December of 2006. The loose stones have been removed and replaced by larger slabs to enable a foothold, with two staircases now leading to the main cross at the top. One could sense that in the near future, as The Lady had mentioned during previous messages, people coming from every corner of the world will be going up the left staircase, past the tree having some form of water receptacle, past the cross and back down the right staircase. More rope stands have also been erected, making the area safer. One only hopes that over time, the whole site is not over developed so that it can retain its original characteristics.

Keeping with the new routine for the apparition in this post-referendum period, The Lady came just before the start of the fifth decade of the rosary. From the movements of Angelik, those present could realise that this time she did not immediately take her customary position infront of the cross but she was going over all those present. Angelik had more to add after the rosary which has been included with the message.

The Message of The Lady

On arriving, the Lady went round all the people present and then took her usual place in front of the Cross. Angelik noticed that while she went around, her hands were filled with gems. These seemed to melt and pour down from her fingers, spreading out over all.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! You are to convey this to the people.

My children, what do the words ‘forgiveness’ and ‘love’ mean to you? It is not enough just to say: ‘I forgive you!’ Rather you must mean what you say. Just to say it with your lips is easy enough. What will you do afterwards? How are you going to behave? Are you still going to hold a grudge against your brother or sister?

How frequently you hear the words: ‘I love you!’ How often do you repeat them? Is it sincere love? Is it sincere love towards your wife or husband or else towards your fiancée? You listen to so many songs about love! The media are full of advertisements and propaganda for love. At times, for some it is not love, but egoism – uninhibited egoism.

My children, my Son Jesus is sending me with my hands laden with gifts for you – gifts and great graces. He is sending me so that I may bring you to him – that you might approach him. Indeed, my children, you need to fast and make penance and sacrifices – that you may also come close to him. Imitate me. Imitate me in my life at Nazareth: a simple and humble life – and you will move towards him.

Finally, I wish you to pray for the Church and for the priests. Pray much for the priests. Indeed, my children, the priests are in great need of your prayer.

Continue to come in great numbers to this hill of Borg in-Nadur. Invite your brethren and bring them along. Both spiritual and physical healing will take place up here. Come along and bring others along with you.

Rosary of 26th June 2011 and Message (P338) Given at Borg in-Nadur

While the Lady was delivering her message to Angelik, he noticed that her hands were filled with gems and that these flowed down as they melted.

My dear children and my own little children! This message if for you to pass on to the people and to the whole world.

I have been sent to you as a gift – for the whole world and especially to Malta. Appreciate this gift. Appreciate this gift deeply, my children. You need to appreciate this most important time – I repeat: that is both for Malta and for the whole world.

I want to distance you from sin, my children. Sin is leading up to everything – just as it did to David: step by step he arrived at murdering Uriah the Hittite. In his mind, King David conceived an idea. His intention was to gain. The idea went wild. He could not see anything but the object he wanted to obtain. He arrived at killing Uriah and accomplished in fact what formerly was in his mind.

Indeed my children, look around and see how nowadays marriages are in ruins. At first it starts off with a word or just a little flirt – as was the case for King David. His heart’s desire was then so great that he arrived at killing her husband.

This is what is taking place in the world, my children: widespread break-up of marriages and total unconcern for others – all in the name of getting what one wants.

Indeed, my children, this is why my Son Jesus is sending me here: as a gift to you and to the whole world.

Rosary of 22^nd June 2011 and Message (P337) Given at Borg in-Nadur

You will recall that as from last week, the way the apparition is now taking place at Borg in-Nadur has changed accourding to the wishes expressed to Angelik by The Lady herself.

After so many apparitions at Borg in-Nadur with the presence of Our Lady during the entire five decades of the rosary, the Salve Regina, the dictation of the message and often some other unexpected event, at first glance this new sequence now being used puts a retrogressive feeling about the event. However if one recalls what Borg in-Nadur and the recent messages were all about, it seems to put even more emphasis on the date of the 28th May 2011, the date of the referendum on divorce. A phase now seems to be over, with references to earthquakes, approaching storms and dark cloads now apparently behind us. If there was any doubt, it appears to add more weight to the importance of the mission that Our Lady was on to warn the Maltese on the consequences of the introduction of divorce legislation on the Maltese family.

This new approach seems to indicate the start of a new chapter or the next phase. From the ‘exterior’ and what one can observe with his eyes, these two apparitions of the new phase seem rather uneventful. But one needs to look beyond as the corresponding messages were very meaningful. So are we gradually heading towards another climax? Will this be the issuing of the healing water from beneath the tree next to the cross?

Back to this rosary, Angelik, seated on the first level of the mould together with the other members of the Theotokos group, Fr Hayden, Fr David and helpers, stood up from his chair at the beginning of the fourth decade of the rosary. He was given the message for the day soon after the beginning of the apparition. The Lady then left in the usual manner and Angelik came out of the ecstatic state.

One can now observe the marked difference in the way Angelik pronounces the first decade of the rosary. Before, when he used to recite the decade already in ecstasy, his voice was full of expression. Now that in the past two rosaries he was not in ecstasy, he goes through the Hail Mary more mechanically, practically like each and every one of us.

The Message of The Lady

While the Lady was delivering her message to Angelik, he noticed that her hands were filled with gems and that these flowed down as they melted.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This message is for you to pass on to the people.

My children, it is to every one of you that a grace or a calling is given. Some collaborate with it, while others do not. Indeed, my children, such a grace or calling is given by Heaven to every person. Those who accept it seek to grow in this grace or calling that is given by my Son Jesus. The others find every sort of excuse and strive to flee from it.

My children, take good care of the grace that is given you by Heaven. Take care of it. Indeed, my children, I say it once more: take good care of it, for once grace issues forth, it does not come back – and will be given to another!

And you will soon have another grace on this hill, my children. Grow in faith and believe. If you act on this, it will not be long before water will begin to issue from beneath this plant. Indeed, my children, I have frequently mentioned this to you.

Come in great numbers to this hill and bring others along, so that what is to take place will come about in the sight of the people – that they may believe.

Say the rosary and get others to say the rosary.

Rosary of the 15th June 2011 and Message (P336) Given at Borg in-Nadur

Angelik arrived at Borg in-Nadur accompanied by the other members of Theotokos. Contrary to what one has become accustomed to expect, he did not stop at the foot of the mound in the usual position to wait for his angel Uriel. Instead they all proceeded to the first level of the mound.

As one was beginning to wonder why there was this change, the following announcement was made:

The Lady told Angelik that as from today, the way the apparition takes place will change. To begin with, Angelik and those who usually climb to the top of the mound stay at its first level and start praying the rosary. Some time during the rosary, Angelik will enter into an ecstatic state and go further up to where the Cross is fixed. Then the Lady will come as she usually does and give Angelik a message – that is written down as it is being given. While this is taking place, the recitation of the rosary will cease. After giving the message, the Lady will depart, Angelik will come out of his ecstasy, return to where the others are and the rosary is then completed. Following this, the message is read out to the people.

Following this announcement, the recitation of the rosary commenced. It was at the beginning of the fifth decade that Angelik stood up, now in ecstasy. The recitation of the rosary was halted. Angelik climbed the mould and turned to face the east, now awaiting the arrival of The Lady. From the description given later by Angelik, she came in a bright ball of light and from her position in front of the cross, she gave Angelik the message which he dictated to Fr Hayden and written by Doreen Vassallo Grant.

When The Lady had finished the message, Angelik’s wife Catherine and Tony Minuti were called near the cross probably to receive a personal message. The Lady left soon after and recitation of the rosary was resumed.

Testimonies given today

The account given today by a lady and confirmed by two others lacked important details although taken in the context of previous experiences, one nevertheless understands what she was refering to. The circumstances are similar to those recounted before by others. They were speeking and praying with Angelik after the rosary at his house when they saw the Communion Host on the tip of his tongue

Today’s Message

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is a message for you to convey to the people.

There once was a youth who wanted to leave his father’s house and go off to live independently. He had lacked for anything in his father’s house. After making his requests from his father, he set off. He spent all he had. He squandered all that his father had given him. Yet, with strong hope, the father would constantly wait for his return.

My children, many today have distanced themselves from the Church. They wanted to leave because they wearied of that lifestyle. They wanted to live apart and to do whatever happens to come their way. These have gone. What are you going to do to bring these persons back? To which roof are you going to climb so as to look out for them? What are you going to do for them? Continue to love them, all the same. Or rather, let your love for them grow.

Ponder today’s message and spend some time reflecting on it and see to what you can do. You are the ones who are to take the first step. Be exemplary for the others.

Rosary of the 8th June 2011 and Message (P335) Given at Angelik’s Home

Angelik was not present for this rosary at Borg in-Nadur and in his absence it was conducted by the Theotokos group. Apparently he was sick and he was also unable to attend for the Gozo rosary held three days earlier.

At one stage during the rosary, a member of the Theotokos group was seen descending the hill. He then returned holding a sheet of paper in his hand.

When the rosary was finished, those that gathered were informed that The Lady had appeared to Angelik at his home in Birzebbugia during the recitation of the rosary at Borg in-Nadur. Angelik lives only a few minutes away from Borg in-Nadur. Hereunder is the message given:

My children, I am a gift of mercy and of love. I ask you to appreciate it during this present time you are going through. Maybe, for some, it is a puzzling and confusing time. Maybe for others, it is a time of grace.

I ask you, my children and my own little children: cleanse your heart by means of prayer, sacrifices, penance and fasting. Indeed, my children, this is the way by which you can cleanse your heart and also fortify the Church – of which I am mother.

So, my children, go back to what you had become. I am willing to take you back under my mantle so as to bring you to my Son Jesus.

Some of you are willing, others not – they want to remain obstinate. I tell you once again, my children: cleanse your heart by means of prayer, fasting, penance and sacrifice. And return to the ancient, simple prayer, the prayer of little children: the meditated prayer of the rosary. This is the only means by which the Church will once again be brought together into unity: in such a simple way – by the prayer of the little ones, by the prayer of the rosary.

Rosary of 1^st June 2011 and Message (P334) Given at Borg in-Nadur

Following the referendum on whether or not to introduce divorce legislation in Malta held on the 28^th May and the victory to the ‘yes’ camp, it appears that all the warnings of The Lady have fallen on deaf ears. Contrary to her advice, the majority of the Maltese still decided to take a bold step and place their valued families on a slippery slope.

If one thought that The Lady would change subject and return to the more traditional form of message, it was not to be since a true mother never abandons her beloved children. Her warnings, together with an old promise which she hasn’t forgotten, continued.

During this rosary and the dictation of the message, one could observe Angelik pointing to the tree under the central cross. After the departure of The Lady, Angelik descended the hill and apparently remained in an ecstatic state as he rejoiced, with the members of the Theotokos group seemingly bewildered by his unusual behaviour. However he then slumped onto a chair and returned to his normal.

When it was his turn to address the crowd, Angelik said that from the fifth, which he then corrected to the forth decade of the rosary, until the end of the apparition, he could see that The Lady was crying. The long prologue to the message was left out altogether by Angelik but added later to the official message.

Testimonies

More interesting testimony was given today. The first lady said that the day before, after the rosary recited at Angelik’s house, she saw Angelik kneeling and receiving a Communion Host on his tongue. The Host was not flat on Angelik’s tongue but appeared to touch first at one point and then come to rest. A man also confirmed this testimony.

A second lady described a similar experience, this time after a rosary held two weeks ago. She saw the Host flat “on the middle of his tongue, coming to a vertical position and then suddenly coming to the tip of his tongue”.

Another lady recounted how her group from Sliema saw Angelik falling into ecstasy and shaking hands with a man. Upon releasing his hand, this man realised that he now had a Communion Host resting on his hand. Then she said that Angelik turned to another man whom he did not know and told him that since he attended the Legion (of Mary), he was to share this experience with the others.

Today’s message from The Lady.

At a certain moment during the recitation of the rosary, a quantity of cotton-like clouds appeared around the Lady. These clouds then came together and formed one single cloud. The Lady sat on it. She held the rosary-beads in her right hand – just as when the beads are being prayed. At the same time, in her left hand she held a crucifix from its lower wooden end. Jesus appeared to be alive and in great agony.

Suddenly, at the Lady’s feet, on the right side, a serpent appeared. It was about two and a half meters long. At the same instant, on the left side of the Lady, at the same level at which she was seated, there appeared the orb of the world. It rotated slowly. The serpent slithered at the Lady’s feet. Its head was green and streaked with a single red line, while the rest of its body was yellow and red. It then happened that the Lady glanced at the serpent and pounded its head under her right foot. The serpent was enraged. It stuck out its tongue and spat out a yellowish liquid. Several times it tried to strike the earth with its tail, but failed.

As the Lady crushed the serpent’s head, a group of twelve Capuchin Friars and group of twelve Dominican Sisters appeared on her right side. They wore the religious habit of their Orders. To the left of the Lady there appeared a group of twelve diocesan priests and a group of twelve Jesuits. The priests were dressed in black cassocks while the Jesuits wore black cassocks with a black sash around the waist.

The Lady was seated in the middle of a semi-circle that these four groups formed. They gazed at the serpent and at the earth. Using both hands, they all held before them an upturned gleaming sword. A rosary-beads was hanging on every sword.

The Lady wept right through the last decade of the rosary and up to the end of the Salve Regina.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! The words that I speak today are for Fr Hayden and Fr David to pass on to the people.

No one is allowed to kill. No one. Nor may you express anger with your brother. You may not even fight with your brother. And I say it once again: no one may kill. You may not even turn off the (life-support) machines. No one may take the life of another.

Adultery: if you look upon a woman or a man to desire them, you would have already fallen into sin. Not even a thought should enter your mind concerning the husband or wife of another.

Divorce, my children! Divorce, my children! Do not seek it. Do not attempt to live it, not even if the Government were to introduce it through the law of the land. No one is to practice it.

You are not to take false oaths. You are not to lie, or to accuse your brethren.

Flee sin, my children. Flee sin. Do not let it get in your way. One is as guilty of sin as one is aware of its sinfulness, my children.

Indeed, my children and my own little children, I ask you to pass these messages on for me today. Expose them so that the truth may emerge, my children.

And the water from beneath this tree will not take long to start issuing and flowing. Birds are to seek shelter beneath its bows and people are to be healed by the water – as long as you will have faith. Water will emerge up here once the people go through a great conversion. Yes, it will emerge and bring about great wonders. This water is never to be sold.

(P333) Message of 26^th May 2011, given at Borg in-Nadur

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is for Fr Hayden and Fr David to convey to the people and to the world.

Married couples! Priests! Religious Priests! Religious Sisters! I want you all to live your vocation. Indeed, my children and my own little children. Were all to live their vocation properly, there would neither be the need of divorce, nor of dispensations, nor of separations. Yet, you are to live out your vocation well. You are to let yourselves go into my Son Jesus’ hands just as a bit of iron depends on the hand of the blacksmith who hammers it on the anvil. He first heats up the iron in order to soften it – that it might take the shape he wants by every blow of the hammer he deals it.

As to you, my children and my own little children, it is not the first time that you too were subjected to blows of the hammer! At times you might have resisted and at others you were malleable, taking the shape he wanted to give you. Therefore, my children, and my own little children, come along – one and all! Let all live their vocation and take it seriously.

I speak to you married couples: your marriage is also a vocation. You may not just break up your marriage as though nothing mattered. You are to fashion your marriage. You are to appreciate it. You are not to be like that hot iron which is just tossed into cold water – thus dealing it a shock! If your marriage were to break up and you were to believe that divorce will help, you will go cold and deal your children a shock. I tell you once more: live your vocation so as to strengthen the Maltese family and so as to be united among yourselves and I will gather you as offspring under my celestial mantle.

(P332) Message of 25^th May 2011, given at Borg in-Nadur

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is for Fr Hayden and Fr David to pass on to the people.

My children, yes indeed, my heart is aching. The heart of my Son Jesus aches as well. At times I also weep because of you, my children. Yes indeed, my children, I say it again: my heart aches!

You are imitating the countries that are close by – your neighbours. Because others do something – then you follow suit. You are imitating the others. You are trying to imitate what is contrary to what my Son Jesus taught you.

My children and my own little children, I ask you to take seriously this calling that I am making you tonight. You have a few days left to reflect. Think only of what my Son Jesus taught you, and of what your mother the Church teaches you. Do not permit others to deceive you. Do not let others draw on the canvas whatever suits them.

My children, look at an icon. Some might remark that it is a strange type of painting. Indeed, my children, do you know what the one who painted the icon did beforehand? Do you know how much fasting and penance the painter performed before? And you, families, how much fasting, penance and sacrifice are you performing together for the sake of the cohesion of your family? How much?

Look around with the eyes of one who looks at an icon. Yes indeed, my children, an icon carries a story and the family, if lived as my Son Jesus wills, also carries a story – not indeed as it is painted for you on canvas.

Yes, my children, this is the reason for my weeping. This is the reason for my coming to you: because you are attempting to break up the unity of the family. Why this pro-divorce propaganda? Is it that you have become very smart? Or is it that you are now grown up and have greater know-how than before?

My children, join up together within one cry: “No! No to divorce! No to divorce!” It is not true that by means of divorce a new life begins – it shatters the family from the very foundation.

A dialogue ensued at this moment between the Lady and Paul Vella by means of Angelik.

The Lady: Paul, what happens when you neglect a plant you have set in the soil?

Paul: It withers and dies.

The Lady: On the other hand, if you were to care for the plant, what would happen then?

Paul: It would mature, flower and produce fruit.

The Lady: Were it not to be growing straight while still a sapling, what would you do to reinforce it?

Paul: Tie it to a stick for support.

The Lady: Is an irrigation-basin important for the plant?

Paul: It is important, since water must be poured into it for the roots to reach it.

The Lady: Thank you Paul. You have answered well.

My children, the Christian family resembles that plant. Your togetherness must become stronger. You stand in need of one another. One must take care of the plant and water it, dig an irrigation-basin for it so that water may collect there. And just as Paul said: the irrigation-basin is most important for the plant and for the roots to grow strong.

My children, this is the way the family ought to be. If husband and wife are as one, then there would be no need for divorce, nor for separations. My children, keep away from such things. Your neighbouring countries still have trouble, even though they have divorce. It is not true that it solves problems – it rather creates problems.

I want you to be exemplary and to manifest the truth and the Christian faith. Indeed, my children, so as to build these up you have at hand a simple prayer, a prayer of the little ones, a little children’s prayer: the prayer of the rosary.

Rosary of 18^th May 2011 and Message (P330) Given at Borg in-Nadur

Today’s rosary lead by Angelik followed the normal pattern. Then before the final prayer and the departure of The Lady, Angelik was seen communicating with Fr Hayden who passed on the message to Raymond Vella. A flag of Malta was taken out of a bag and given to Angelik, who then knelt down and apparently placed the flag a few moments later at the foot of The Lady. No mention or explanation was given after the apparition but one can interpret this to be connected to the massively important referendum on divorce which will be held here in Malta on the 28^th May.

It was announced that another Rosary-Chain was going to be organised again with the intention that divorce will not be introduced to our country. As there were no testimonies to be given, the message given by The Lady was then read out, reproduced hereunder.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is for Fr Hayden and Fr David to pass on to the people.

A dialogue between the Lady and Jonathan Cassar Torreggiani by means of Angelik ensued.

The Lady: Jonathan, if you happen to put it into your head to import a new item, what would you do then?

Jonathan: I would first check whether there is a demand for the item on the local market and then I would search for what I have in mind.

The Lady: What would you do in case your brother or associates happen to disagree with you, and yet you remain adamant, being convinced that there is a demand for the product on the local market?

Jonathan: I would attempt to expose all the reasons in favour of the product.

The Lady: And naturally, you would try to convince them, would you not?

Jonathan: Yes, I would persist in trying to get them to see my point.

The Lady: Besides your arguments, would it not help to have it advertised on the media so as to have good sales?

Jonathan: It is important that people get to know about the item, otherwise I would have brought it in vain – were no one to know about it.

The Lady: Jonathan you have answered well. Well done!

My children and my own little ones! Are you still not seeing it? Are you not realizing, observing and experiencing? Indeed, my children, at present what is taking place in your country is similar to a sale by auction of something.

My Son Jesus sent me years before, for me to foretell these happenings in your country. And by way of making it clear to all: it is not only these last few months that I have been delivering these messages to Angelik. I have been telling you about them for years. There might be those who paid attention to me, while in the case of others, nothing happened.

Such is today’s situation, my children: marriage is not simply a contract. Marriage is a sacrament. Indeed, I repeat it: marriage is not just a contract, but also a sacrament. You may not play around with marriage. It is not a game, nor a joke. You may not stretch it at will: lengthening or shortening it. Remember that it is a sacrament.

Maybe the ones who are bringing this about are at present enjoying the applause – because within the population a number are found who are in accord with them. No, my children, do not rejoice in this. Rejoice when they give you a clap after having faced problems or difficulties or doubts within your marriage and emerge from them of one accord through prayer and physical intimacy. It is then that you ought to rejoice, since you would be the ones to have emerged victorious.

My children, I am pleading with you tonight: do not cast away the beautiful things you hold within your country. Take care of your belongings – or rather, make them even better. Be exemplary for other countries. Be exemplary for Europe, my children. Do not be weak. Do not be cowardly. Be yourselves the ones to take the first step. Be exemplary for Europe.

Rosary of 11^th May 2011 and Message (P329) given at Borg in-Nadur

Suffices to refer to the brief but extraordinary testimony given at Borg in-Nadur after the apparition by three persons from Ireland (see video at the end of this blog).

They were in the house of Angelik the day before and he told them through their interpreter, Maria, that he could not understand nor speak English. They claim to have seen him going into ecstasy and then saw the Communion Host appear in his right hand. In addition, when he was in ecstasy, Angelik spoke to them in perfect English.

When the lady read out her similar testimony, her brief show of emotion towards the end were particularly significant.

Earlier three Maltese ladies also recounted their experiences of the appearance of the Communion Host on Angelik’s hand.

Today’s Message from The Lady

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is for Fr Hayden and Fr David to pass on to the people.

My children, I want to encourage you once again to pray the rosary. I ask you from my very heart, my children – from this aching heart – indeed, I tell you again, from this aching heart: say the rosary and get others to say the rosary.

Do not tire of hearing such words from me. It is necessary that you say it persistently and without stopping. And I also ask of you, my children, to perform fasting, penance and sacrifices. It is a mother’s heart that asks this of you, my children. It is necessary that you pay attention to what I am telling you.

Indeed, my children, I tell you that when God the Father called me and sent the angel Gabriel, I said an unconditional yes. I did not come up with: ‘why this and why that?’. I said yes – since it was a calling. Do likewise, my children. Offer no resistance or opposition. There is an urgent need of conversion in your country. Strengthen families by means of the rosary, fasting, penance and sacrifices.

Rosary of 4^th May 2011 and Message (P328) Given at Borg in-Nadur

The celebration of May as a holy month for Mary has been ratified by several popes through the ages. Pope Benedict XV ordered a prayer for peace in 1915, during World War I, and Pope Pius XII called for May devotions in 1939, at the start of World War II.

This Catholic traditional focus on Mary dates back at least 700 years. May is seen as the beginning of new life and the start of summer, which makes this a logical time for the celebrations of Mary, who brought Life into the world.

Perhaps the most well-known of the May Marian devotions in our day, is the crowning of a statue of Mary with flowers. This became particularly popular in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with a procession of school-age boys and girls dressed in their finery, following the statue in a procession.

With the upcoming divorce referendum on the 28^th May, this month of 2011 will also take on a mammoth significance for our country.

At the beginning of the second decade of the rosary, Angelik stood up and turned towards the setting sun in the west, almost stumbling on his chair. He was at this time in a state of ecstasy. Angelik then pointed towards the sun, meaning that one could actually look at the setting sun. At Borg in-Nadur, this has happened several other times over the years but it was actually the first for this year (please remember that looking at the sun can damage your eyesight).

After the fourth decade, Angelik passed on a message to Fr Hayden who then relayed it to Raymond Vella who as always was standing behind Angelik. Raymond, together with another person, were seen descending from the hill and looking for something. They returned with a length of metal pipe and a sizeable stone with a flat surface on one side, which Raymond placed behind the chair of Angelik.

Following the Salve Regina and just before the dictation of message, Angelik was seen communicating another message to Fr Hayden who pointed to Lawrence Genovese, the person who has been shooting the video of practically all the recent events in connection with Borg in-Nadur. Lawrence left the camera running on the tripod and made his way up the hill to answer the questions of the Lady.

When Angelik had finished the message, he stood up and asked for the pipe and stone. He then knelt and started hammering the pipe with the stone into the ground. As no reference was made to this by Angelik when the apparition had ended, the significance of this gesture remains at least for now, a mystery.

Testimonies

There was another brief but strong testimony by Patricia and Stephen to the Communion Host phenomenon. Patricia said that the day before, when she and other family members were talking to Angelik at his house after the rosary, a Communion Host appeared on the hand of Angelik. Stephen added that he actually saw the Host descending onto the hand of Angelik.

Today’s Message

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! This is for Fr Hayden and Fr David to pass on to the people.

A dialogue took place at this moment between the Lady and Lawrence Genovese by means of Angelik.

The Lady: Lawrence, do you always take videos and photographs?

Lawrence: So as to spread your messages.

The Lady: Before I came to this hill, was it your custom to take videos and photographs?

Lawrence: No.

The Lady: Do you not keep photographic mementoes of yourself and your wife?

Lawrence: I do have a few photographs.

The Lady: What do you say on seeing them? And on watching the Borg in-Nadur videos, what do you say?

Lawrence: I love them very much.

The Lady: Do they not bring back memories, Lawrence? Do you not wish to go back to those times?

Lawrence: Yes.

The Lady: You have answered well, Lawrence. Thank you very much.

My children and my own little children! I could never do what Lawrence does. There were no means by which to take videos and photographs. I used to hold on to everything, both when my Son Jesus was still young and even when he grew up. And under the cover of night, I used to ponder deeply over all that would have happened between him and me. Indeed, my children, I used to love reviewing the experience that my Son Jesus and I would have lived together. I used to enjoy rekindling memories. I could never remove them from my heart. I tell you once again: I could not take photographs or videos, and yet they were in my heart to stay. Century after century they continue to remain in my heart. And yet I then passed them on to you. I passed onto you and still continue to pass on to you the memories I had concealed in my heart. I do this in a simple way so that all may recognize them and comprehend. I am referring to the prayer of the rosary. Indeed, my children, they were all hidden in my heart and I offered them to you. They are actual events that took place right before my eyes. This is why I passed them on to you. They are the videos and photographs that I held in my heart. I have given them to you.

Say the rosary and get others to say the rosary, my children.

Fr Hayden’s Reflections

After his usual reminder to remain obedient to the Church authorities and for us to offer our prayers to them, Fr Hayden quoted the Blessed Pope John Paul II. He affirmed that nowadays the family is inundated with pictures from their television sets and the need to reaffirm the images of Jesus and Mary by means of the prayer of the rosary is great. More to just saying the rosary, we need to meditate on the mysteries of the rosary as Mary used to meditate on the moments she spent with her Son Jesus.

Message (P327) of 27^th April 2011, given at Borg in-Nadur

During the fifth decade of the rosary, the Lady’s hands filled out with gems that melting, flowed from her fingers and gushed out towards the people.

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! Fr Hayden and Fr David are to pass this on to the people.

At the wedding in Cana, even my Son Jesus obeyed my word and told the servants to fill the six jars with water. They filled them up. They obeyed him. They accepted his word. They could have refused to fill them up and yet they did fill them up and the miracle occurred.

And another time, Jesus was tired in the sunny afternoon and a Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus asked her for a drink. She was on the verge of arguing with him since she was Samaritan and he Jewish. On telling her certain personal details of her life, she realized that this was no common man. She went to fetch her kinfolk to meet up with him. She wished not to be the only one to meet him.

My children, listen to his word. Pay heed to what he tells you within the Bible that you search – the Word of my Son Jesus. Receive it into your lives and it will transform you.

I send you also to stay in the presence of the Eucharist, my children. Yes my children, do find time every day for adoration. Do not leave him alone. He would be waiting for you. Come to him. Do not allow a day to go by without paying him a visit or without having spent some time in his presence. Yes my children, come to him and allow him to transform you and let his Word penetrate your heart and in doing so you would be pleasing to him and to me.

Message (P326) of 26th April 2011 Given at Borg in-Nadur

My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! Fr Hayden and Fr David are to convey this message to the people.

My children, on the occasion when my Son Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, had the crowd not cooperated with him and had they not listened to his word, the miracle would not have taken place. But since they did obey his word and removed the stone, the miracle did happen.

Mary Magdalene failed to recognize my Son Jesus straight away. She thought he was someone else and asked him: ‘If you were the one who removed him, do tell me and I will bring him back.’ Indeed, my children, her eyes were still covered. She failed to recognize him. Her faith in him was still incomplete. But, he called her by name. On calling her by name, she realized and recognized him and believed in him. And because she believed in him, he sent her to his brethren for her to give them the news of all that had taken place. My Son Jesus had been close to her even before and still she failed to recognize him. But because he called her by name, he sent her to proclaim what she saw and who it was she met. Had she not believed, she would never have gone. She would have remained right were she was, much like a stone.

My children and my own little children, what are you going to do today? Which course will you take in your life? Repent, my children and be converted and believe. Indeed, my children, this is why I am coming to this place and why he is sending me to this little island of yours.

I repeat: you are to repent. And I expect great faith. Move forward in life so that your life will truly change and in so doing, you would be acting according to the will of my Son Jesus.

26^th April 2011 - Some Clarifications from the Cenacle Theotokos

In the light of certain comments that have been made on the media regarding some alleged messages of the Lady of Borg in-Nadur to Angelik Caruana, the members of the Cenacle Theotokos wish to make the following clarifications:

1. Messages that refer to natural disasters around the world and here in our country go back even to the beginning of the alleged apparitions of the Lady (2006).

2. In these alleged messages, the Lady has insisted upon the prayer of the rosary as a means to free our country and the world from natural disasters.

3. Divorce has been mentioned in the alleged messages of the Lady ever since the beginning of these happenings. There is no direct link between the commencement of messages that mention divorce with the commencement of the proposal to introduce a law in favour of divorce in our country.

4. There are no alleged messages that directly connect natural disasters with the proposal to introduce divorce in our country.

5. There has not been any alleged message that mentions what might be the result of the referendum on the introduction of divorce in our country.

6. We keep clear of all interpretations of these alleged messages that others give and we do not accept responsibility for what others come up with regarding the alleged messages. We even do not consider ourselves in a position to interpret the alleged messages. We leave their interpretation in the hands of persons within the Church who are competent to do so.

7. No one is authorized to write or speak on our behalf. Material that we have published is found on our electronic site:www.borgin-nadur.org

8. The principle message of the Lady of Borg in-Nadur seems to be that she loves us with a true mother’s love and that her heart and the heart of her Son Jesus are hurt due to the sin of mankind. The Lady asks for conversion from the whole of mankind and from Christians. The Lady asks for this conversion by telling us to turn to Jesus by means of Confession, the Eucharist, the rosary, fasting, performing sacrifices and penance.

9. We wish to emphasize that the alleged phenomena that occur in relation to these alleged messages only have a secondary and subsidiary importance to the alleged message of Borg in-Nadur.

10. As to these alleged messages, apparitions and other phenomena: while on the one hand we wish not to deny our own experiences, on the other we submit to the judgement of the competent authorities of the Catholic Church.

11. We wish to encourage those who are following these happenings:

a. To keep to the facts.

b. To be obedience to the Church authorities if these give any directive with regard to these happenings.

c. To build up their faith on the Word of God and on the teaching of the Church.

12. Certain persons who are associated with Borg in-Nadur organize rosary-chains at Borg in-Nadur with the intention that our country be kept free from divorce. Such rosary-chains have long since been held, even before the referendum on divorce and moreover, the prayer intentions have varied over time. In the alleged messages, the Lady has at times herself asked for these rosary-chains to be held.

13. Fr Hayden Williams OFM Cap and Fr David Cefai SJ were not appointed by Church authorities to be present with us, but have accepted our request to accompany us. We do not take their presence with us as though the authorities of the Church have recognized Borg in-Nadur. Moreover, they are not with us to approve or disapprove what takes place at Borg in-Nadur or whatever emerges from these phenomena and alleged messages. Fr Hayden and Fr David are not with us so as to promote or spread the alleged messages of Borg in-Nadur, but rather are there to teach us God’s Word and the teaching of the Church. We feel the need for such accompaniment both for ourselves and for those who attend.

14. We wish to offer the following theological reflection written by Mons. Rene Laurentin in the book: The Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary Today, p. 123-127. While reflecting on the theme of natural disasters mentioned within various alleged messages given by Our Lady in these times, Mons. Laurentin writes:

“Like previous apparitions those of today are at one and the same time a prophetic message and an evangelical response. The response may appear to be repetitive, even banal. We have heard it before. It makes us look more seriously at a reality we have neglected and forgotten, because for us the urgent often displaces the essential.

The message of the apparitions offers us in the first place a diagnosis: our modern world has abandoned itself happily and quietly to sin. It is destroying itself. The threats are serious. This is what the apparitions are saying in different ways, sometimes in a language intended to shock, at other times in a secret elliptical language…

The apparitions soften and to some degree filter the proclamation of imminent threats… because the intention is not to frighten people or increase their anxieties, but rather to invite them back to the source which will heal their ills and anxieties…

The root of evil is sin (insult to God and the destruction of humanity)…

Our sin destroys the order and the ecology of divine creation. We develop and degrade the world over which we rule. Ecologists are aware of this at the level of the natural rhythms of the world. But there is not sufficient awareness at the level of moral and religious balance through which creation has an essential relationship with the creator, and humankind, under pain of self-destruction, a similar relationship with God. In endeavouring to cut ourselves from the creator, we are like a woodcutter who saws off the branch on which he is sitting. This moral and divine balance is, in the final analysis, the most important aspect…

By destroying the relationship of the creature with the creator sin destroys the creature itself. Through sin we are wounded, physically, bodily and spiritually and the world is destroyed. The evidence is as clear as day.

None of this is vengeance poured out from above but is the intrinsic consequence of human error. Self-destruction is a form of immanent justice. It is not God who is the author of evil, it is we ourselves. We should not forget that, because of human solidarity, evil extends even to the innocent.”
